Karen Valentine is a Gold Coast based Milliner in Queensland, Australia.

Karen creates beautiful and unique race day hats, headpieces and bridal pieces in her Hope Island studio where all pieces are lovingly handcrafted.

In her pursuit to deliver designs of outstanding quality and design, Karen blends traditional millinery techniques with innovative techniques thus ensuring a quality of make and a standard of design that sometimes eludes us in the fashion world today. All of Karen’s creations are one-off designs made with finest quality of materials.

Her designs have been seen at racing carnivals all over Australia from Darwin right down to Melbourne. Karen’s designs have even travelled to Royal Ascot, Dubai and the Kentucky Derby to name a few. Many celebrities have adorned her designs and have even made it to the big screen. Karen was also part of the Iconic Brisbane boutique-The Hat Box for 12 years where many of her designs were seen at numerous fashion parades and events such as The Mercedes Benz Fashion festival .
